Role: Patient Financial Specialist- Onsite

Location: Irving, TX
Contract Duration: 12 weeks contract with a possibility of extension
Pay Rate: $21/hr
Work Schedule: 40hrs/week, Monday - Friday
Shift: 8am - 5pm

COVID VACCINE AND FLU SHOT REQUIRED

REQUIREMENTS:
HS Diploma or equivalency require
Post HS education preferred
Must have minimum of 3 years' experience in a Customer Service call enter environment with a focus on healthcare billing/collections or collection agency environment or 3 years' experience working in a client service or marketing capacity, preferably in a healthcare or collection agency environment.
Must have 1-2 years of medical collection experience
College education, previous Insurance Company claims experience and/or health care billing trade school education may be considered in lieu of formal hospital experience.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Handling patient accounting
Managing outstanding balances
Patient accounting
Managing outstanding accounts
Managing anything outstanding
Managing outstanding bills
Design and develop Patient Financial Services training and process educational content for Hospital Billing professionals
Exhibits experience with invoices, billing software and updates of database to financial records
Ability to create/develop/edit compelling and practical patient financial services courseware in a style that will lead to successful adoption and knowledge transfer in an online environment
Have extensive experience in maintaining and managing a successful hospital based revenue cycle program
