Vice President, GFCD Technology Compliance Business Coordinator/Business Analyst

The GFCD Technology Audit, Risk and Control Team in the Global Financial Crimes Division is seeking an individual with business coordination and business analysis skills to join our team. The ideal candidate is experienced with Financial Crimes compliance programs inclusive of AML/BSA/Sanctions and familiar with Financial Crime Compliance Systems and related internal controls. The individual will apply this experience to support development of and/or enhancements to strategic system solutions and related business as usual control processes.

The hybrid Business Coordinator/Business Analyst professional will support key, global GFCD Technology initiatives as part of the Audit, Risk and Control team and will have primary responsibility for:

  • Organizing, maintaining , and circulating a consolidated view of the status and timelines for all global GFCD Technology activities including global transformation initiatives, Innovation, Change Management, Audits/Exams and other GFCD Technology initiatives
  • Maintaining project plans covering critical activities and deliverables required from the GFCD-Technology team to report progress to the head of GFCD Technology
  • Coordinating with MUFG's Tokyo office for tasks required to be completed by the GFCD Technology USA-based team related to the global implementation of a single financial crime's platform covering Transaction Monitoring, KYC, and Sanctions Screening
  • Providing targeted coordination and support on the design, development and ongoing BAU support of financial crimes systems
  • Providing coordination to the GFCD Technology Innovation team to support the assessment and roll-out of new vendor products through proof-of-concepts
  • Collaborating with other Global and regional colleagues in developing strategies and driving initiatives supporting the GFCD Technology program and business partners.
  • May be assigned to lead small to moderate initiatives/projects supporting Financial Crimes system control environments.

    • Expertise in Microsoft Teams and MS Office Suite
    • Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
    • Detail-oriented and motivated to take on new projects and learn new technologies
    • Ability to identify and drive efficiencies
    • Ability to effectively collaborate and communicate with global teams
    • Prior experience with financial crime compliance technology implementations
    • Strong presentation skills
    • Able to distill complex technology issues for business stakeholders in a clear, concise manner
    • Flexibility, individual accountability, and ability to multi-task in a busy environment
    • Bachelor's Degree required
