Job Description:

The Digital Marketing Manager helps drive innovation, growth, new customer acquisition, and revenue across the digital ecosystem. This digital leader is responsible for the co-development of the content strategy, promotional executions and paid advertising across all channels and third-party e-tail sites. This dynamic self-starter will help manage the influencer programming for both consumer and physician partners with initiatives that drive brand awareness through promotions, digital activations, and media buys. We are seeking a dynamic pro with an omni-channel mindset, possessing a strong aptitude for cross-functional collaboration in a fast-paced environment, who can help push the brand to the next level.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Strategic Planning and Implementation

  • Contribute to the development of all digital-first creative ideas and executions to achieve strong KPIs based on the long and short-term company and brand goals
  • In collaboration with cross-functional teams, support the creation of digital advertising campaigns, web content and other media to engage the brand's target audience across all channels
  • With the oversight of the Director, assist in developing the strategy and guide tactics for year over year growth through:
  • Leveraging analytics and reporting
  • Audience targeting and segmentation
  • Mix optimization of organic, earned, and paid media
  • Driving awareness, engagement, demand, and conversion
  • Content and campaign creation
  • Lead elevated content creation to attract new consumers and accounts while more deeply engaging existing audiences with new tactics and subject categories
  • Provide budget recommendations to the Director for annual planning and forecasting with insight on adjustments as business needs evolve
  • Oversee and collaborate on the development of digital content creative briefs
  • Evaluate emerging platforms, tools, trends, and governing digital laws to develop best practices
  • Support the Director with quarterly promotional recommendations, financial feasibility models and implementation


    Influencer/KOL Programming
    • Assist in the analysis of all social media, influencer/affiliate/KOL programming, and measure KPIs to ultimately optimize campaign/budgets and ROI
    • Identify and grow relationships with influencers/KOLs and routinely monitor performance to provide feedback for optimal engagement and conversion
    • Oversee the execution all influencer/KOL marketing initiatives: activate, grow, and retain partnerships that maintain brand integrity and meet/exceed ROI targets
    • Help to create authentic influencer/KOL campaigns that increase brand awareness and drive conversion while meeting revenue and margin goals
    • Support in the oversight of influencer/KOL contracts and all deliverables

      Agencies/Media
      • Collaborate with social media and PR agencies when required on brand strategy and launch executions
      • Liaison between agencies and internal partners to ensure direction is understood and deliverables achieve objectives
      • Partner with external agencies to manage initiatives and contracted projects
      • Oversee nominations and award wins for beauty seals and help to negotiate usage rights with media outlets
      • Manage delivery of all required creative assets, insertion orders and other contracts for paid media buys

        Continuous Improvement
        • Strive for continuous improvement on website, email, and social media, via best-in-class recommendations and strategy presentations to upper management
        • Identify and resolve complex issues and areas of opportunity via an in-depth knowledge of social media, email marketing, and website strategy across all channels
        • Gather customer and market insights to inform outreach strategies, increase customer conversions, and generate more qualified leads

          Cross-Functional Teams
          • Build and maintain strong working relationships with cross-functional teams, leadership, and external vendors
          • Partner with the Customer Service team on product knowledge, updates on promotional calendars, and other business needs to ensure optimal user experience on the brand website and other platforms

            Other Activities
            • Create digital and traditional content creation via Adobe Photoshop as needed
            • Assist international team with content sharing and creation of content specific to region as needed

              Sales, KPIs & Other Metrics
              • Help achieve KPIs and metrics including: sales goals, new consumer acquisition, site traffic, ROAS, and influencer/KOL performance goals via comprehensive digital marketing efforts

                REQUIREMENTS:
                • Bachelor's degree
                • At least 6 years of dedicated digital marketing experience in-house or at a digital, advertising, public relations agency
                • Experience with affiliate or influencer programming is a plus
                • Proven success with strategic digital projects from inception through execution
                • Ability to work independently and present clear recommendations that support and align with company strategies
                • Track record of setting, measuring, and achieving online KPIs, data analysis, and reporting
                • Strong understanding of business and brand-building through content production in digital and social, video, content, and influencer experiences
                • Able to express complex ideas and experiences with a straightforward approach to inspire creative teams
                • Excellent project management skills to handle multiple priorities at once and evolve with changing business needs
                • Sophisticated presentation skills and acute attention to detail with strong accountability and ownership of projects
                • Experience with content marketing, channel planning, CRM, and online community management
                • Experience with email marketing and social media management tools
                • Experience with trendspotting, and leveraging new and emerging technologies
                • Experience working directly with skincare, beauty, pharmaceutical, OTC drug, consumer packaged goods, and/or personal care products is required
                • Critical thinker that identifies, diagnoses, prevents and resolves problems
                • Understands business needs for independent channels and audiences for B2B and B2C
                • Proficiency with MS Office and Adobe Photoshop
                • Estimated Travel: 20%
                  *Please note that although this position is hybrid/remote, the individual would be asked to come into the office as needed about 20% of the time.
