Role Summary: The Senior Marketing Manager for Foodservice is responsible for driving the creative development marketing campaigns and programs, media planning, research, and strategy for AFM's Foodservice division. The main role of this position is to support the Senior Director of Culinary & Foodservice and the department's sales team in developing marketing programs and campaigns that will engage with clients and chefs and excite them to use more avocados in their menus and promotions, including AFM's experiential programs. This position will lead the management and control of the foodservice marketing agency team and will function as a team leader in the annual company planning process for his/ her division. A key responsibility of this position will be to manage the company Patron program and work hand-in-hand with the digital department to develop a foodservice CDP for the future.

Responsibilities: - Works directly with the Senior Director of Culinary & Foodservice to develop and bring to life AFM's Foodservice strategy. - Acts as a division leader in the annual planning process. - Creates and develops the communication strategy and campaigns for foodservice. - Drive innovation for foodservice creating the ideation program and material to launch annual innovative culinary solutions for our clients. - Collaborates with the digital department to develop and execute the annual digital media plan for foodservice. - Manages foodservice web development projects in collaboration with the digital team. - Manages foodservice experiential projects including Avo Eats and Avoeatery concepts. - Manages key marketing programs to communicate and connect with key clients and chefs including Avo Insiders and the foodservice newsletter Avo Dish. - Oversee all marketing assets production and aid in the creation of general marketing, sales materials, and customer presentations. - Own the tracking and control of effectiveness tools, budgeting, tracking, reporting and research management. - Aggressively grow the business by driving and implementing strategic initiatives to reach the company's volume goals - Build a strong relationship with the foodservice sales team, partnering with them to bring best in sales and marketing programs to clients. - Lead foodservice research and the transformation of insights into actionable new fresh avocado opportunities / projects. Represents the foodservice department in the company Center of Excellence for research and insights. - Bring to life educational & editorial photo/video shoots from concept to execution. - Stay connected to the industry with field visits, trade show attendance, etc. - Collaborates with the PR department to plan and execute foodservice PR events and programs. - Manages the relationship and control of the foodservice marketing agencies, including the annual contract and budgeting process with them. - Through the foodservice contractor manages the team budget control tracking and reporting. - Stays up to date on current and emerging marketing trends, best practices, and technologies and seeks ways to improve consumer marketing and media processes and deliverables on a continual basis.

Spanish written and verbal communication (preferred).

Education/Experience Requirements: - Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or related field required (MBA preferred). - 7+ years' experience in foodservice marketing and/or advertising. - Strong digital knowledge and experience.
