Position Summary
The Marketing Production Analyst will support the Marketing group with contract management, accruals, bid packages and monitoring pipeline inventory. -This position will report to the Director - Marketing and will be based on-site in the Irving, TX office. -
Essential Duties and Responsibilities -

  • Monitoring daily production, sales volumes, and crude oil inventory levels to understand and maximize revenues
  • Advising of sales adjustments as needed
  • Ensuring proper management of oil, gas and NGL sales agreements
  • Fostering strong relationships with third-party industry counterparts to enhance trading and scheduling opportunities
  • Providing excellent customer service through written and verbal interaction with internal and external contacts
  • Monitor and resolve volumetric changes and pricing discrepancies throughout the production month and reconciliation process
  • Utilize electronic bulletin boards to monitor and communicate pipeline operational information postings
  • Enter and manage nomination data in an internal accounting system
  • Communicate pipeline tariff rate changes
  • Review and approve truck and pipeline transportation invoices
  • Position requires flexible working schedules involving weekdays, weekends, and holidays
  • Other daily, weekly, monthly or special project duties as identified and defined
  • Job duties will expand and change over time, position requires flexibility
    Qualifications Education, Experience, Licensure
    • Bachelor's degree required with Business, Operations, Accounting or Finance degrees preferred
    • 1-3 years of general energy industry experience with a preference for those with knowledge of crude oil sales contracts and pricing mechanisms
    • Bachelor's degree requirement can be waived with additional years industry experience
    • Should be self-starter with ability to participate in team environment across functional roles
    • Proficiency with MS Excel and Word with ability to learn other proprietary software packages
    • Strong oral and written communication skills needed, with an ability to interact effectively with internal and external customers under time constraints
    • Organizational skills, analytical capability and focused work ethic are highly important Proficiency with Microsoft Teams, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
    • Possess valid driver's license and clean driving record (MVR) that meet Company's Insurance qualifications to operate a Company pool vehicle
