This team accelerates sales activity by attracting, engaging and converting leaders and their teams through the delivery of compelling Gartner insights and experiences throughout the buyer journey.
The Program Manager role provides a unique opportunity to play a critical role in helping to transform Corporate Marketing at Gartner into a more strategic partner to Sales with an analytical underpinning and approach. The PM will partner closely with the VP, Marketing Strategy to drive the strategy, operations and evolution of the Become a Client (BAC) marketing function, as well as create and evolve the marketing function to set qualified appointments for Sales.
This role is virtual-first / hybrid. We can hire in the following locations: Stamford, CT & Irving, TX
What You Will Do

  • Leverage a data-driven approach to assessing the performance of the BAC function, identifying levers to pull to improve performance, and executing on those levers to drive evolution. Also manage operational programs in support of the BAC leadership.
  • Design and run tests to support both BAC and Appointment Setting strategy, and scale successful tests into full-scale programs with speed and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with leaders across Marketing, Sales, GSSO, Finance, Services, IT to drive business objectives, and also manage external vendor relationships for select programs
  • Lead quarterly BAC update with executive leadership, and report program results in executive steering committees.
  • Work on a variety of cross-functional initiatives, including long-range planning efforts as part of larger Marketing Transformation initiative as needed.
    What You Will Need
    • 7+ years business experience in an agile fast-paced environment with program ownership and execution.
    • Strategic leadership potential; ability to synthesize a clear, consistent vision and implement effective programs
    • Experience accessing various data points to derive business outcomes, draw conclusions, and implement change
    • Ability to gain insights and build connections with global stakeholders
    • Strong Project management skills
    • Demonstrated track record of designing and implementing effective tests and turning into scaled programs.
    • Demonstrated track record of designing and managing optimized processes, projects and programs in a global workforce environment.
    • Bachelor's degree preferred
    • MBA or equivalent degree a plus
