Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for IT Service Automation to reduce cost, reduce risk, improve efficiency and enable Service Management to keep up ever increasing volume of with fast pace of newer technologies due to agile and Next Gen Architecture.
Drive development of automation strategy in line with corporate standards and tools, with focus on automation of activities supporting Mainframe applications.
Drive and implement rigorous quality standards for all aspects of the automation delivery from initial concept to final implementation.
Continually evolve the working practices within and services provided by Production Management (regionally and globally) to improve efficiency and productivity.
Continuous forward compatibility and acquisition of competency around automation, Artificial Intelligence, Robotics Process Automation, predictive analytics, etc.
Decision analytics and technology platforms to deliver immediate results and long-term business impact
Develop predictive models that will form the basis of information-driven strategies executed with respect to services provided by Production Management.
Ability to conduct blameless problem management/post mortem phase of major incidents, develop executive briefings, assess major incident impacts and drive service improvements to prevent repeat of an incident.

Participate in complex projects and large technology streams.

Specific Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or higher
ITIL Foundation understanding and preferred practice
A strong understanding of the IT environment and related technology applications used in predictive modelling and process automation.
Engineering Background in system admin, development, devops or equivalent field

Knowledge/Experience:
8+ years progressive experience leading people/teams to include experience in an Operational or Customer Management role in a technology-oriented enterprise environment.
Operational experience at a regional level in a complex/matrix organization;
Successful experience in the product life cycle, developing programs and framework required for the design of metrics, analytical tools, reporting for the identification of best practices;
Proven ability to develop and manage relationships at all levels;
Experience in advanced analytics including experimental design and predictive modelling.
Proven experience in automation of using scripting tools like Puppet, Chef, cfengine, and Peral
Exposure to Robotic Process Automation and Artificial Intelligence technology platforms
Familiarity in building Machine learning models and Python programming language.
J2EE/microservices development experience of running applications in cloud native environments(PCF, AWS, API Gateway technologies)

Skills:
Fluent English
Strong analytical skills, strong problem solving skills and ability to logically break down tasks into smaller manageable parts
Solid understanding of systems and application design
Systematic problem solving approach
Strong communication skills and sense of ownership and drive
Adaptable and can work with large complex and multi team owned services
Exposure to public cloud platforms such as AWS, Dell Pivotal Cloud Foundry, APIs and Micro Services
Confirmed experience supporting internet production services and distributed systems
Extremely organized, detailed oriented and thorough in every aspect.
Able to balance multiple tasks and projects effectively while adapting to new variables
Utilizing creative and innovative thinking but also adhering to a strong sense of ownership, customer service and integrity demonstrated through clear communication
Drive, self-motivated and eager to learn
