The Role:
The Senior Public Cloud Network Infrastructure Engineer will be
instrumental in implementing the architecture and engineering
processes and best practices to enable the foundational
infrastructure (compute, network, storage, observability) required
for application hosting in public cloud. This role is responsible
for cloud networking from taking part in technology assessments,
configuration, deployments and life cycle management to management
tooling, monitoring, and orchestration. The ideal candidate has
experience in software development methodologies, designing and
creating highly available cloud systems with the ability to
implement cloud strategy. Advanced industry knowledge like building
an engineering organization is key to be successful in this
position. The role requires a talented, DevOps minded technologist
with experience engaging with application developers throughout the
full development lifecycle - from inception and design to
deployment, operation, and iterative development. In addition, a
networking background is highly beneficial with the ideal candidate
showing a working understanding of network routing concepts such as
BGP.
