Job Details Qualifications Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (or higher) 6 or more years of experience in the MEP industry EIT certification required; PE license is a plus (or actively working toward licensure) Strong communication and collaboration skills Experience coordinating with other disciplines on projects Preferred: Proficiency with Revit Interest in community-centered design Responsibilities Collaborate with our clients to understand their needs, constraints, and criteria for success. Develop design solutions, weighing the benefits and risks of various options, and helping the client choose a path forward. Lead the project team in developing design documents (conceptual design, equipment selection, construction drawings, specifications, energy modeling, etc.) Coordinate all design disciplines to ensure a comprehensive, code-compliant, and constructable design. Manage the client’s expectations throughout the design process. Communicate with colleagues, external consultants, and vendors to meet objectives and schedules. Serve as the Owner’s representative during construction (RFI response, Submittal review, Site inspections, etc.) Provide mentorship to less experienced designers and engineers.
