WestRock is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Class A Mechanic to join our dedicated team in the manufacturing sector, focusing primarily on maintaining and enhancing our packaging solutions equipment. As a Class A Mechanic, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the operational efficiency of our machinery and equipment, critical to the production of innovative and sustainable paper and packaging products. Perform routine and preventative maintenance on a variety of industrial equipment and machinery. Diagnose and repair mechanical issues and ensure maximum equipment efficiency and effectiveness. Maintain a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. Support equipment installations and machinery upgrades, ensuring seamless integration and minimal downtime. Collaborate with the engineering team to improve machine reliability and performance. Keep detailed records of maintenance logs and repair work for future reference and compliance. Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed. Expertise in mechanical diagnostics and repairs Proficient in the use of mechanical tools and diagnostic equipment Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Effective communication skills, both verbal and written Ability to work independently and as part of a team Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certifications from the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) preferred but not required. Other relevant mechanical or technical certifications.
