Job Description:
Mill Creek Environmental is seeking a skilled Project Manager to
join our dynamic team in the Construction department, focusing on
environmental projects. This role is pivotal for leading projects
that involve comprehensive environmental consulting services,
specifically tailored towards construction projects requiring Phase
I Environmental Site Assessments, soil and groundwater testing, and
compliance tasks. The Project Manager will ensure projects are
delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with
environmental standards and regulations. Plan, execute, and
finalize projects according to strict deadlines and within budget,
including acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team
members and third-party contractors or consultants in order to
deliver projects according to plan. Define the project's objectives
and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle. Coordinate
with external and internal clients to set project scope, goals, and
deliverables. Develop full-scale project plans and associated
communications documents. Effectively communicate project
expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear
fashion. Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve
project goals. Draft and submit budget proposals, and recommend
subsequent budget changes where necessary. Where required,
negotiate with other department managers for the acquisition of
required personnel from within the company. Delegate tasks and
responsibilities to appropriate personnel. Identify and resolve
issues and conflicts within the project team. Track project
milestones and deliverables. Conduct project post mortems and
create a recommendations report in order to identify successful and
unsuccessful project elements. Proven project management skills.
Strong familiarity with project management software, such as
Microsoft Project, Basecamp, or equivalent. Adept at conducting
risk management. Strong leadership skills and ability to manage
diverse teams. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and
negotiation skills. Understanding of the fundamental principles of
environmental science and construction management. Ability to work
under pressure and tight deadlines. Medical Insurance Dental

Manager (CPM) or equivalent. Certification in Environmental Site
Assessment or a related field is preferred.
