What you'll be doing... Verizon is seeking a Program Transformation lead for the GTS (Global Technology Services) Corporate Systems Group. This role will develop and implement cross-organizational programs to lead the CSG organization and its CIO leaders through key transformations as well as maintain a regular cadence of communications. Your expertise and insights will ensure that each workstream within CSG develops a way of working that supports the overall vision. You will also serve as the liaison between CSG and GTS/Verizon-wide programs. You will also have the opportunity to collaborate with an energized and professional Governance teams to align CSG programs with the overall GTS strategy. As the CSG Program Transformation lead, you will develop CSG-specific transformation plans, and propose and implement governance, workstream, and technology adoption solutions. You'll be collaborating with a dynamic team to transform our Core Systems Group. Using cross-organizational networking, communications, and tools, you will enable the leaders, working groups, and their partners to achieve a successful transition across CSG's multiple locations. You're a top-notch planner who can keep sight of the end goal while ensuring all the steps along the way are taken care of, even under tight timelines and with competing priorities. Responsibilities: - Develop and execute processes related to program effectiveness and team engagement. - Develop local programs and apply methods to assess the impact of the program, program performance, and operational readiness. - Develop and execute the activities, appropriate to the management levels, to support the programs. - Create and distribute supporting material including training and supplemental assets. - Measure outcomes, gathering user feedback, and making program improvements to ensure that goals are met. - Contribute to and coordinate best practices forums across CSG's multiple locations including cross-organizational involvement and technology awareness. - Manage and implement regular and ad-hoc CSG-wide communications to introduce the organization and news ways of working. - Provide support to develop presentations for the leadership team across the organization via PowerPoint and Google Slides. - Execute and maintain digital presence of Corporate Systems Group and enforce brand compliance across the organization What we're looking for... You'll need to have - Bachelor's degree orfour or more years of work experience. - Six or more years of relevant work experience. - Strong experience in developing and leading transformation projects or program campaigns - Five or more years of experience communicating with Senior leaders. - Experience in creating materials in Microsoft PowerPoint or Google Slides to communicate with stakeholders. Even better if you have: - Experience with Enterprise level Transformation methodologies - Experience in event planning, organizing, managing and execution of large projects. - Approaches to ensure all initiatives are delivering business goals on-time and within scope and budget through risk/mitigation, issue and resource management. - Strong collaboration skills and a bility to communicate effectively across different business and technology channels. - Excellent written and verbal communication to clearly and regularly communicate status, issues and to clearly identify risks and mitigation plans to all stakeholders - Desire and demonstrated interest to implement and learn new methods and tools for program Transformation and Communications through professional organizations, certifications, conferences, etc. - Working knowledge of Agile project management concepts. - A good understanding of IT and new technology environments. - PC literacy, including desktop applications competency (e.g., Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, e-mail, etc.); Google suite. - Excellent communication skills, including both written and verbal, and ability to tailor communication style based on levels of management. - Ability to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and instill a share sense of purpose.
