We are looking for a highly motivated servant leader Senior Manager with a proven record in large program management and delivery.   • Building and grooming high performance teams.
  • Provide on-going advice, encouragement and constructive feedback in order to grow individuals professionally.
  • Perform the role of mentor/coach for the team.
  • Ensures that ideas, information and technology flow with highly collaborative nature with fellow management within and outside of the organization.
  • Provide input to the identification and development of potential future leaders.
  • Utilize global Workday implementation programs in support of HCM (Human Capital Management); including Workday system design, build and deployment experience.
  • Leading the system work in support of the Digital HR initiative which involves end-to-end process transformation and transition to global standard HR processes.
  • Managing a hybrid solutions architecture and delivery team composed of onshore/offshore, internal/external resources.
  • Leading the GTS participation in the implementation of the new HCM platform.
  • Managing the implementation of custom modules that may be required to address Verizon's business needs not fulfilled by SaaS solution.
  • Overseeing cost-effective development and maintenance of system integrations to the new Human Capital Management platform.
  • Maintaining awareness of vendor plans and the potential impact of those plans on current and future HRIS functionality.
  • Supporting change management including development of user procedures, reference guides and other documentation as needed.
  • Providing thought leadership on content and new engagement models, particularly in the area of API-First approaches, Microservices, Digital Transformation and Automation. What we're looking for... You'll need to have:
    • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
    • Sixor more years of relevant work experience in HCM/ERP implementation.
    • Experience with on-prem and SaaS enterprise software, modern cloud solutions (AWS, GCP, Workday cloud etc.), systems and data integration strategies.
    • Experience supporting large-scale, complex ERP implementations, global program initiatives and/or process improvement efforts.
    • Experience with creating user stories and requirements for software development and solid background with Agile and SAFe framework.
    • Experience in managing a hybrid team of employees and vendors to accomplish goals. Even better if you have:
      • Degree in computer science or computer engineering.
      • Demonstrated experience in program and project planning and management.
      • Strong functional knowledge of HR.
      • Ability to gauge product scope and a team's ability to execute effectively.
      • Ability to multi-task and handle various projects simultaneously to drive timely results.
      • Attention to detail and relentless commitment to follow-through.
      • Ability to convey ideas and recommendations to a wide variety of audiences at all levels in a clear, compelling and succinct way in written and verbal communications.
      • Proven ability to collaborate and build strong relationships with cross functional team members
      • Experience with automation - RPA/PCS and DevSecOps practices.
      • Experience with Open Source technologies (i.e. *JS, Java, SQL/NOSQL)
      • Ability to quickly grasp a wide range of emerging technologies, combine design thinking, technology, data science and business, and understand how they come together to solve Human Resource business problems.
