Come join our team!---The Director of Training & Communications plans, organizes, implements, and evaluates training, communication, and other activities to improve the company culture and operational efficiencies. The Director of Training & Communications will lead a team responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of learning solutions and communication vehicles that are aligned with the company's business objectives. This includes creating best in class training that supports ACE customer, employee, onboarding, product training as well as job-specific core skills and/or certifications.
The Director of Training & Communications will help shape and fully execute the strategy of the group, developing training and communication standards within ACE, and creating a Center of Excellence within the business to support the learning requirements of our customers, employees and product owners.----
Major Responsibilities

  • Leads development and deployment of training and communications initiatives in the retail organization from concept to implementation. Partners with Collections and Customer Service Training leads as needed.--
  • Serves as change leader with corporate and field leadership teams to facilitate best chance of success for key initiatives.
  • Provides guidance and direction to the corporate team on programs that impact our store employees. Serve as a voice of the field in the corporate initiative setting and product development activities.--Gathers and shares feedback.--
  • Partners with other groups to ensure that prioritized initiatives are well received and leveraged within the field organization.--
  • Makes recommendations on new ways to improve and streamline the company's underlying operational processes, while working closely with the Operations team to ensure that activities integrate well within the store environment and lead to measurable ROI additions.--
  • Leads District Manager and RVP Leadership training initiatives and programming. Partner with Field Operations and Human Resources Leadership to identify high potential succession candidates and creates applicable development plans.--
  • Plans, organizes, and conducts training classes, seminars, and conferences.--Responsible for development and execution of Field Leadership conferences.--
  • Oversees the operation of the LMS and learning content management systems and curriculum delivery.--
  • Monitors sales performance and operations on an ongoing basis to identify trends, problems, and opportunities and develops programming to improve the business.--
  • Manages and develops vendor relationships.--
  • Develops consistency in the administration and policy formation.
  • Performs special tasks and related assignments as required.----

            Minimum Qualifications
            • Bachelor's degree required.
            • Requires a minimum of 7-10 years curriculum design, platform training, and management experience over training/learning and development skills.
            • Experience in the retail industry/financial institution with an eye towards implementing programs to improve service quality. Experience with field teams preferred.--------
            • Proven expertise across a variety of instructional methods and training techniques including curriculum design principles, adult learning theory and blended learning strategies.
            • Ability to work successfully with all levels of the Company.--
