Are you a creative forward thinker seeking a trailblazing opportunity?We are seeking a Director of Human Resources to lead our team for a permanent role. The Director of Human Resources is responsible for delivering HR initiatives that drive business results, which include developing and executing HR strategy in support of overall business plans and the employee experience. The role is responsible for developing, implementing, updating, and ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and best practices that support the mission, vision, and values of the organization.The Director of HR will be responsible for:

  • Providing comprehensive day-to-day HR direction and support for the business including staffing, benefits, employee relations, performance management, compensation, training, culture and engagement, and compliance.
  • Driving talent strategy including talent acquisition, retention, engagement, and development.
  • Managing talent review process, performance management, and employee development programs to help identify high and low performers, promote and reward excellence, and drive continuous and transparent feedback across the company.
  • Coaching leaders to improve employee performance and to actively manage change to improve organizational effectiveness through talent planning.
  • Reviewing disciplinary documentation for accuracy and consistency and checks for supportive documentation and is accountable for determining appropriate action.
  • Providing support to management regarding all employee relations issues, from coaching to disciplinary action, and proactively maintain a positive work environment through a fair and consistent resolution process.
  • Administering the company's comprehensive benefit programs including health, life, disability, 401(k), employee assistance programs, FMLA and personal leave of absence
  • Preparing annual reports and audits for worker's compensation and 401(k) or any other reasons to support busines needs.
  • Cultivating a culture of excellence, success, and respect.Qualifications for this role:
    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development or related
    • 6+ years in Human Resources with 3+ years in a management position
    • 2+ years of professional work experience in a high-volume environment
    • Experience leading the HR functions in a remote/hybrid work environment
    • Experience in the design and implementation of employee benefit plans
    • Strong knowledge of employment rules and regulations for multiple states
    • Has been actively involved or led a full HRIS implementation
    • Highly proficient in the use of spreadsheets and other software to analyze data and trends
    • Experience with creating budgets for the HR departmental functions
    • Self-starter with a high degree of personal accountability, domain ownership, and natural curiosity
    • Must be able to provide samples of exceptional strategic thought and written communication
    • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
    • Innovative, motivated, organized, high-energy team player
    • Ability to establish smooth working relationships, resolve interpersonal conflicts, correct misunderstandings or errors and apply executive level staff etiquette in dealing with others.
    • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
    • Organized and able to prioritize work
    • Ability to explain complex information effectively
    • Ability to make decisions independently, based on standard procedure or policy
