Job Description:

The Research & Analytics Associate Manager is responsible for supporting the Market Development, Marketing, Food Service, and Public Relations teams by gathering, interpreting, and applying insights to drive category growth and brand recognition.
Responsibilities:-Partner with internal teams to understand and deliver on insights needs-Develop evidence-based analysis for Market Development (Shopper/Trade), Marketing (Consumer/Digital) and Food Service teams to support planning and to share with their respective customers and agencies.-Conduct post-analysis recaps for marketing programs - shopper/retailer, consumer, etc. - that provide recommendations for future actions.-Combine multiple data streams to derive insights and recommendations that are comprehensive yet concise.-Support manager, leadership, and cross-functional teams on ad-hoc analysis requests with timely follow-ups-Be the subject matter expert in syndicated data - panel, retail POS, shipment, etc.-Point-person for data reliability of each source, including timely resolution of any issues.-Understand the strengths and limitations of all data sources.-Demonstrate mastery of data platforms.-Support internal teams with training and helpdesk operations.-Stay on top of new data sources and technologies-Manage ongoing vendor relationships.-Ensure accurate, on-time reporting and analysis-Identify opportunities to maximize vendor capabilities to free up internal resources-Responsible for budget management/tracking, PO generation, and ensuring proper reconciliation with Finance.-Manage renewal, RFP, and contract processes-Engage with consumer research partners to develop programs that focus on internal needs and maintain validity.-Identify areas for innovation in market and consumer understanding, data technology, integration, and accessibility.
Skills and Qualifications:-Bachelor's Degree required and in related field preferred (Business, Marketing, Research, etc.).-Minimum 4-5 years of experience in sales/marketing analytics, category management, retail trade, or consumer research.-Has category and shopper marketing insights experience working in produce and/or CPG food and beverage. Trade marketing knowledge is a plus.-Consumer research experience is a plus; interest is required.-Strong knowledge of the retail landscape.-Ability to deliver evidence-based storytelling is essential.-Strong project management, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills; strategic skill sets based on a combination of fact-based shopper data and qualitative data.-Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint as analytical and visualization tools.-Experience with BI tools like Microsoft Power BI.-Proficient systems knowledge and experience with syndicated data (Nielsen/IRI), interpreting primary and secondary research as well as Numerator shopper panel data.-Critical thinker who can translate data, insights, and research into tangible selling stories.-Passion for executing with excellence and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.-Strong project management, time management, and organization skills with attention to detail and follow-through.-Outstanding written & oral communication skills.-Exhibits tenacity in meeting goals, determining solutions to meet business challenges, and being comfortable with ambiguity.
