Partner with senior product leaders, lead systems architects, and engineering managers to develop product functional and technical strategies for the LOB product portfolio. Provide expertise and thought leadership in the portfolio domain and leverage external perspectives, trends, and research to inform development of actionable strategies and plans. Oversee engineering teams to deliver commitments aligned to LOB strategic priorities.Mentor and guide the development of engineering managers and senior engineering leads. Supports financial forecast and budget development. Collaborate within and across agile teams and organizations to design, test, implement, and support technical solutions in full-stack development tools and methodologies. Provides oversight to software craftsmanship, -security, availability, resilience, and scalability of solutions developed by the teams or third party providers. Works to continuously improve software engineering practices and velocity of teams. Support implementation of projects and features for a product portfolio within a LOB. Projects may have enterprise-wide impact. Partner with senior product leaders to drive -strategic outcomes. Ensure compliance and risk management requirements for supported area are met. Provides technology risk oversight for product and application portfolio. May recommend risk management requirements for supported area and partner with stakeholders to implement key risk initiatives. Primary Interface with third party vendors and technology -service providers supporting products within the portfolio. May interface with external agencies, regulatory bodies and/or industry forums. Lead a large team of mid to senior-level engineers and/or lower level engineering managers.The Engineering Sr. Manager will serve as the Senior Engineering Leader within Enterprise Content Management (ECM) services group of Strategic Services & Advanced Technology (SSAT) organization. Enterprise Content Management (ECM) group is enabling document and content process automations and digital experiences for customers and team members across all Wells Fargo lines of business. The ECM team provides various enabling services, such as: Intelligent document and image capture, e-Signature, Document collaboration and repository, Document generation. Print, mail, and reporting, Enterprise Search & Web Content Management. This manager will be leading teams providing a set of services including strategic leadership through modernization & transformation of platforms, while enabling set of agile teams towards successfully delivery for business /LOB CIO prioritized commitments through cultivating & promoting a culture of execution excellence. -As an Employee Manager, you are expected to achieve success by leading yourself, your team, and the business. Specifically, you will: -

  • Lead your team with integrity and create an environment where your employees feel included, valued, and supported to do work that energizes them.
  • Accomplish management responsibilities which include sourcing and hiring talented employees, providing ongoing coaching and feedback, recognizing and developing employees, identifying and managing risks, and completing daily management tasks.Required Qualifications
    • 7+ years of technology engineering experience
    • 6+ years of leadership and people management experience in a technology environment
    • 5+ years of experience with strategic planning in technology
    • 10+ years of experience in a technology leadership role
    • 5 + years of experience working with an Enterprise Content Management (ECM) or Service Oriented Architecture Enabling (SOA) platform
    • 3+ years of experience managing and leading transformation of multiple agile development teams in a large organization
    • 3+ years Agile leadership experienceDesired Qualifications
      • Ability to negotiate, influence, and collaborate to build successful relationships
      • 5+ years of SOA (Services Oriented Architecture) experience
      • Knowledge and understanding of technical design: ECM system design, implementation, and support at an enterprise level
      • Knowledge and understanding of full life cycle software development
      • Knowledge and understanding of system architecture solutions development
      • Experience developing partnerships and collaborating with other business and functional areas
      • Knowledge and understanding of technology architecture: solutions for web applications and web services
      • Working knowledge of Cloud Platforms in one or a combination of the following: Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF)
      • Knowledge and understanding of imaging solutions or document management processes
      • Ability to motivate a team and lead strategic initiatives, collaborating across a large organization and multi-tasking as required
      • A Master's degree or higher in operations research, applied statistics, economics, computer science, electrical engineering or a related fieldJob Expectations
