Your research and design skills will make an impact, being a champion for the value of informed UX design, envisioning and designing market-leading digital products, and working with product management and IT development teams to bring your designs to life. If you're passionate about building world-class products and working with great people, you'll fit right in.Experience should ideally focus on envisioning and designing software products. Your portfolio should clearly outline the problems you've taken on with your design work. It should touch on the process you applied to articulate customer needs, find solutions, and overcome challenges, rather than focusing just on visual polish or the final deliverables. Position Description:Lead research and design efforts from concept to market for all our PTIG products.Apply fundamental research, user experience, and design principles to deliver intuitive experiences.Transform ideas into creative, simple, functional, and responsive designs under technology and time constraints, working closely with peers in Product Management & Development.Spend time in the field getting to know & understand the workflow of users and the challenges they face. Leverage user research and testing feedback to inform and validate design decisions.Use Design Strategy & Research to assist defining and evolving the product roadmap of your projects, and in prioritizing areas of focus.Analyze various sources of user data, including voice of customer (site surveys), web analytics, and user testing/interviews to inform design decisions.Minimum Requirements10+ years of relevant user research and design experienceHealthcare and Wholesale Distribution industry experience preferredCritical Skills10+ years' experience as a User Experience Designer or Product Designer. A degree in a related field or equivalent experience is also required.Experience designing digital products and systems, not just websites. You have helped design products that solve real problems.Experience with the entire product development process, from researching customer needs, problem solving and system modelling, through to detailed UI, visual, and interaction design.Ability to analyze web analytics and other relevant data to inform and defend design decisions.Proven ability to work effectively with a variety of disciplines including product management, software development, marketing, and brand strategy.Ability to design polished, high-fidelity mock-ups of your solutions using modern design tools such as InVision, Figma and Sketch.Ability to create prototypes using InVision, Figma, Sketch, HTML/CSS/JS, etc.Strong communication skills to help people across the company understand the rationale behind your proposals and the complex nuances of design problems as well as interact directly with McKesson customers.Expert knowledge of user-centered design and best practices.Solid understanding of user experience design, usability, and information architecture.Education 4-year bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, graphic design, IT, or related field or equivalent experiencePhysical RequirementsGeneral office demands.
