success.-Description:Operational Risk Management's (ORM) mission is
to design, maintain and embed a framework that enables Citi to
effectively identify, measure, monitor and manage Operational Risk
within appetite. To create lasting solutions for minimizing losses
from failed internal processes, inadequate controls, and emerging
risks, and to drive actions to address the root causes that
persistently lead to operational risk losses and other adverse
events. The objective is to reduce operational losses for Citi
through preventive actions and solutions to effectively manage and
mitigate significant operational risks and vulnerabilities that may
arise within systems and technology processes.This role is a
strategic professional who develops and executes a methodology
("capacity model") to forecast resource deployment and enhancements
across the ORM organization. This resource will report to the ORM
Book of Work Leader and partner with the rest of the ORM
Initiatives team to apply the capacity model in ORM Book of Work
and business administration practices. Identification of
requirements, process design, and process execution are critical
expectations of this role. Accountable for the development of
strategies around implementation of the capacity model.Key
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement a comprehensive Capacity Planning process
and model to support smart resource deployment and enhancements
within ORM
- Introduce industry best practices for resource forecasting and
deployment
- Become a key partner across ORM globally through the
establishment of a Capacity Model
- Effectively partner with ORM stakeholders to integrate the
Capacity Model into BAU processes
- Analyze complex data, prepare, and present product, regional
and global Capacity reporting
- Work with the leadership team and hiring managers to understand
and action change to improve organizational Capacity Planning
oversight
- Support overall ORM Book of Work effort to establish an
inventory of ORM challenge activity that is defendable
- Support ORM business administration team tasked with headcount
and forecasting budget
- Identify risks and escalate for timely resolution
- Provide production support to produce key deliverables that can
be consumed by executivesQualifications:
- 5-8 years in a global financial services firm or related risk
and control function
- Bachelor's/University degree, Master's degree preferred
- Innovative, well versed in developing new ideas and improving
current processes
- Proven experience authoring work products, narratives, and
presentations that received high executive visibility. It is
desired the candidate will have experience managing a portfolio of
work, managing work streams to completion under tight deadlines,
and being accountable to management.
- Ability to operate with limited level of supervision and can
exercise independence of judgement and autonomy
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with the
ability to synthesize key messages to describe processes and
controls for non-technical audiences.
- Exceptional Communication and presentation skills to peers and
upper management
- Solid relationship management and customer service skills as
the provider of a service across multiple teams. Ability to address
and resolve conflict while maintaining relationships.
- Excellent time management, organizational, and influential
skills, as the role requires close interaction with ORM Coverage
Teams to influence adoption.
- Demonstrated leadership and adaptability when facing unique
challenges of a dynamic organization.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent
follow-up and strong attention to detail.
- Detail oriented with analytical skills, with an ability to
perform data manipulation and presentation. Expert in Microsoft
