Job Description:
Responsibilities :
- Lead a team responsible for all stages of contract lifecycle
including risk management analysis, due diligence, requirements
gathering, RFP preparations, selection, negotiation, and
termination;
- Develop and implement cross-functional process improvement
strategies to advance vendor data, infrastructure, and analytics
across GRC (governance, risk and compliance) and enterprise
systems;
- Assess vendor risk in accordance with established policies and
regulations, including establishment of risk assessment guidelines
for evolving and expanding services;
- Provide strategic oversight and escalation in managing vendor
performance to ensure financial and operational objectives;
- Lead and manage the development of standards for vendor
engagements and processes;
- Evolve and expand Medpace's preferred vendor relationships,
enabling streamlined selection and strategic pricing negotiations
with vendors;
- Lead and execute vendor selection and evaluation, pricing and
contract negotiations, and vendor contract compliance for key
services;
- Apply understanding of policies and procedures associated with
purchase contracts such as indemnification and amendments;
- Liaise cross-functionally to troubleshoot and provide
resolution to vendor service and process issues;
- Liaise with management and internal stakeholders on key
projects; and
- May be responsible for other projects and responsibilities as
assigned.Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field;
- 7+ years of relevant service;
- Ability to lead a team;
- Experiencing building relationships and negotiating with
