About This Opportunity A high-level performing team leader with ability to build team relationships and drive tasks for initiatives in contribution to product design. Ability to focus on several design projects simultaneously. Ability to understand how integrated products affect the eco-system in-order to recommend opportunity and solutions for improvement. Decipher, conduct and organize research, work with research team to determine and design information architecture that supports product roadmap and sprint cadence. Ability to produce experience flows for user experiences through the creation of sketches, IA, and wireframes. Understanding and experience working with design-systems; ability to adhere design to specific conventions and design guidelines set by DSM. Ability to create design aesthetics and interaction design for elements and components by the way of mockups/comps, high-fidelity compositions and rich prototypes. Ability to make-ready final screen design or animation for developers using tools and process that deliver to-the-pixel design.
Standardize UI/X across software & hardware products within 7 eleven Product Ecosystem. Responsibilities: As a Senior Manager UX, you'll advocate for the customers, associates, and enterprise users who use our products as well as the business. You'll manage a team of UX designers to plan, design, and build digital products within 7-Eleven. You'll partner with Product and Technology Leaders to define and drive high quality design deliverables across product design initiatives. The ideal candidate has experience across many design disciplines, is knowledgeable about the latest interaction and design standards, and has a passion for design quality. Key Responsibilities and Duties Provide leadership for a team of UX Designers, inspire and mentor them, serve as a champion of their work, guide them, and elevate their efforts to the next level
Collaborate with key stakeholders, product, and technical leaders to gain alignment and shared understanding of the product vision and key goals
Contribute to strategic decisions that shape the 7-Eleven customer, associate, and enterprise experience
Partner with key stakeholders, product, and technical leaders to gain alignment and shared understanding of the product around its vision and key goals
Anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, and articulate risks, trade-offs, and recommend priorities based on balancing customer needs, business needs and technical constraints *This position is onsite in Irving, TX Qualifications: 14+ years of experience in UX design and 5+ years managing or leading design teams
Creative problem solver who leans into collaboration to create delightful experiences
Portfolio of UX-focused work samples for responsive web and native mobile applications
Experience taking a product from inception to launch
Effectiveness managing multiple stakeholders and working across organizational boundaries to define, manage, and prioritize work streams with leadership expectations
Strong expertise of the user-centered design process, methods, principles, and skills
Excellent leadership, communication, project management, and organizational skills
Knowledge and understanding of Agile, Lean UX and Mobile First principles
Proficient in all areas of UX design including interaction design, information architecture, visual design, prototyping and user research
Solid proficiency in design, prototyping and collaboration tools including Figma and Miro
