The Senior Product Marketing Manager will create and implement marketing strategies to drive awareness, engagement and affinity with B2C/B2B customers. Reporting to the AVP Product Marketing, this team member will define market positioning, develop and execute go-to-market strategies for a variety of initiatives that support business goals. As a key leader in Marketing, you will help lead your team to define and develop a roadmap of features driven by research and analytics. You will identifying customer needs, wants and expectations, to deliver personalized experiences that exceed customer expectations and meet business objectives. You're a leader who collaborates and builds strong partnerships across the GM Enterprise to deliver consistent business value to GM, GM adjacencies, the brands, and GMF. You're a collaborator who can work closely among key business stakeholders, developers, UX designers, marketers, analytics teams and operations leaders. You and your team will be the subject matter experts for some of GM Financial' s key digital channels and will be recognized as fierce advocates for putting the customer at the center of everything we do.JOB DUTIES

  • Direct and create high profile, marketing initiatives to ensure they receive the necessary focus, coordination, priority and resources to succeed
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure on-time delivery of campaigns and initiatives
  • Create and manage customer communications for every touchpoint along the journey, ensuring that communications align with marketing plans and our business goals
  • Work directly with the product managers and marketing team members to plan and implement goals, strategies, and campaigns around our products and other consumer touchpoints
  • Establish and nurture relationships with key stakeholders and other influencers who contribute to the definition and ongoing support of B2C/B2B marketing strategies through stewardship, influence, motivation and change leadership
  • Lead the high-level prioritization of marketing initiatives, aligning experiences across channels and touchpoints to ensure the best business results
  • Help lead planning for the future direction of B2C/B2B channels and features by combining customer needs and insights with quantifiable business cases to establish program roadmaps and strategies that are built on consensus and buy-in from senior leadership
  • Analyze market and competitive research to anticipate product trends, competitive actions and marketing strategies
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for go-to-market activities
  • Measure, assess and report on the effectiveness of campaigns and the various tactics and collateral assets
  • Contribute to GM Financial' s culture of teamwork, excellence and integrity
  • Understand and evangelize the vision, strategic priorities and goals of the organization, translating them into a roadmap of features and enhancements that provide remarkable customer experiences
  • Lead and nurture a team of direct and/or indirect team members charged with implementing the product marketing strategies
  • Foster and champion an environment that promotes trust, continuous improvement, innovation, quality outcomes and self- development
  • Perform other duties as assigned
