Our mission is to provide strong enterprise cybersecurity that is fully aligned with the enterprise architecture of the firm and is deeply integrated into the sectors and functions.The Role:To scale up our services we are looking for a Senior Software Developer to provide services to our Cyber Security Services organization, a part of the CISO. This role will join the existing Security Automation development team to lead designing and delivery of a software solution orchestrating and managing global scale security controls and policies. The ideal candidate would be a highly motivated individual familiar with secure coding, software architecture models, and information security concepts.Responsibilities:Co-lead the design, architecture, and coding of a platform managing security controls of aglobal scale virtualization and other solutions delivered by the teamEnhance and maintain the existing solutions built by the team and deliver new capabilitiesPlan the platforms transformation from the existing distributed architecture to the micro-services modelEnsure that all integration of functions meet business goalsDefine necessary system enhancements to deploy new products and process enhancementsDemonstrate analytic/diagnostic skillsHelp guide team efforts in alignment with project roadmapRecommend product customization for system integrationIdentify problem causality, business impact and root causesExhibit knowledge of how own specialty area contributes to the business and apply knowledge of competitors, products, and servicesImpact the engineering function by influencing decisions through advice, counsel or facilitating servicesAppropriately assess risk when business decisions are madeDemonstrate appropriate consideration for the firms reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets by driving compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and Citi PolicyApply sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, while escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparencyQualifications: 3-5+ years relevant experience in a Java Software Developer/Architect role3+ years coding in JavaScript2+ years with GIT and working with RESTful APIsExperience with MongoDBExperience working in Financial Services or a large complex and/or global environmentComprehensive knowledge of design metrics, analytics tools, benchmarking activities and related reporting to identify best practicesAbility to work in a matrixed environment and partner with virtual teamsAbility to work independently, multi-task, and take ownership of various parts of a project or initiativeAbility to work under pressure and manage to tight deadlines or unexpected changes inexpectations or requirementsStrong working knowledge of MS Office, SharePoint, JIRA Software & JIRA ConfluenceClear and concise written and verbal communicationExperience with Node.js and Python is a plusExperience with VMware orchestration technology (vRO/vRA) is a plusEducation:Bachelor's degree (in Computer Science or a related field), or equivalent work experienceRelevant Security Certification / Secure Coding Certification is a plusThis job description provides a high-level review of the types of work performed.
