SALARY:
$50,000-$55,000/yr BOE

WORK DESCRIPTION:
The Duty Manager is responsible for successfully managing the
functional operations and supervising employee performance. Provide
day to day leadership and direction to Leads and Supervisors by
preparing work schedules, monitoring work performance, coach/train
new employees, delegate responsibility, enforce safety rules and
deliver consistent, safe, reliable operations and service. The Duty
Manager also manages the inventory of supplies and maintenance of
equipment, investigates problems, develops solutions, and reports
directly to the General Manager.
JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
The ability to communicate effectively in English with written and
oral skills.
The ability to work quickly and efficiently, ensuring all safety,
operational, and airline-specific guidelines are followed.
The ability to use modern office equipment, including a personal
computer with various software packages, telephone, fax, printer,
scanner, and copier.
Understanding of principles and processes involved in business and
organizational planning, coordination, and execution.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Directs crew leads and supervisors engaged in daily activities,
including creating schedules and providing training.
Examines, inspects, and records information on equipment,
materials, chemical inventory levels, productivity, and worksites
to verify safety and operational data ensuring compliance with all
specifications.
Communicates with customers, supervisors, managers, and other
personnel to exchange information and resolve problems.
Enforces compliance of operations personnel with administrative
policies, procedures, safety rules, and government regulations.
Conduct accident and injury investigations to determine root causes
of the incident, and prepares reports of findings.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Speak and understand English.
Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen, 10-year background check
(criminal/employment) and be able to obtain a required airport
security clearance.
Must have a VALID Driver's License for at least 1 full year with a
clean driving record. (License cannot have any restrictions).
Qualified applicants will have at least 3-5 years of experience in
the aviation industry, directing the activities of 30+
employees.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Work is performed on airfield ramp (outside of aircraft), which is
exposed to outdoor weather conditions (temperatures ranging from
20-105 degrees Fahrenheit) and elevated noise levels.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the
essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be

Occasional (1-3hrs): Driving, sitting, and climbing.
Frequent (4-6hrs): Bending, squatting/kneeling, pushing/pulling,
twisting/turning, and repetitive movement.
Constant (7-8hrs): Standing, walking, and reaching.
Lifting 25-75 lbs. max with occasional lifting/carrying of objects
up to 50 lbs.
