The Senior Financial Manager (Business Analysis Senior Manager) is
a senior management-level position within Workforce Planning
responsible for liaising between business users and technologists
to exchange information in a concise, logical, and understandable
way in coordination with the Citi Global Wealth Technology team.
The overall objective of this role is to contribute to continuous
iterative exploration and investigation of business
allocations.
Responsibilities:
Communicate and deliver on various financial processes of central
finance team.
Support Senior Leadership team on matters related to financial
forecasts, expense drivers, variances, balance sheet impacts
etc.
Assist in driving and closing the monthly financials by
coordinating between multiple regional teams & business
managers.
Explain variances for multiple lines of business, compare financial
forecasts to targets assigned, compare financial forecasts across
multiple systems.
Ad-hoc analysis for assessing the impact of certain events on
financial forecasts, events like foreign exchange currency changes,
inflation and assist in much more financial analysis and risk
assessment.
Co-ordinate between business managers and technology program
managers on financial forecasting across multiple Citi systems.
Assists with budget creation and budget risk assessments.
Assist with the changes in the management hierarchy during the
restructure.
Drive the client billing process and related queries.
Identification of efficiency opportunities and process
improvements.
Qualifications:
6+ years of experience in financial management.
Demonstrated leadership skills.
Consistently demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal
communication.
Proven interpersonal skills with ability to partner and influence
across organizational lines.
Proven ability of using complex analytical, interpretive and
problem-solving techniques to spot anomalies, and assess risks in
financial forecasts.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, and associated
automation of tasks.
Confidence to work with stake holders across all levels of
management and geographic locations.
Experience of working on projects and delivering to assigned
deadlines.
Experience working with large volumes of data from disparate
sources.
Experience with collaborative tools like Microsoft SharePoint and
Confluence.
Knowledge of project management and workings of technology
organizations is preferred.
Education:
Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience.
Master's degree preferred.
