Job Description:
The US Personal Banking and Wealth Management Marketing and
FranchiseDevelopment (USPBWM&FD) organization staffs a
centralized team of Issue Managers that are responsible for the
Issues Management book of work for US Personal Bank Marketing,
Franchise Development, and Customer Experience. This role will
support Marketing and Franchise Development but could support
Customer Experience if needed. The Issues Management role partners
closely with Risk Owners and Business Control teams to drive
resolution of process breaks, missing or incomplete controls, and
any customer remediation required. This role requires project
management skills, problem solving skills, experience in
documenting corrective action plans, business knowledge, broad
connections across all businesses, excellent verbal, and written
communication skills. This role will direct large and multiple
teams of professionals who do not directly report into
it.Responsibilities:
- Actively participate in the evolution of Issue Management and
Remediation processes
- Identify Business/Function Issue Owners for confirmed
issues
- Partner with relevant teams (i.e. Business, Controls,
Compliance, and Legal) to lead and facilitate Root Cause Analysis,
Remediation Planning, and Documentation of all parts of the issue
life cycle
- Providing insight and consultative support to the
Business/Function Issue Owner on remediation approaches, timelines,
and compensating measures
- Assessing and recommending issue severity to drive expectations
on resolution activities and timeliness
- Responsible for status updates and escalation if identified
risks through standardized communication routines and tools
- Informing and supporting the Business Issue Owner through the
managing of project plan and deliverables to ensure issues are
resolved and remediated within control limits in the expected
timeframes.
- Supporting additional oversight and validation routines
required by functions such as Internal Audit and Compliance
- Ensuring that all relevant issues are tracked in appropriate
systems of record
- Driving a holistic view of the issue to ensure impacts to other
lines of business or functions are identified
- Supporting oversight and validation routines required by

Knowledge, and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business
required.
- Track record of exceptional performance
- 5-10 years' experience in Banking with at least 2 years in
risk/controls.
- Strong process and project management skills including the
ability to manage several large initiatives simultaneously.
- Detail oriented, analytical, and highly organized
- Ability to publish detailed tracking and analyses
- Ability to interact and build relationships with individuals
outside the core teamSkill requirements:
