We are seeking a PRN 1 PCU - Med Surg Acute Care RN for our Resource Float Pool to ensure that we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care. PRN Level 1 Requirements:3 (12 hour) shifts per pay period 2 weekend shifts every 4 weeks1 major & 1 minor holiday
**Base Rate $47/hr**
As part of the Elite PCU - Med/Surg Acute Care Nursing Float Pool, Registered Nurses deliver professional nursing care to age-specific patients on the PCU and Medical Surgical Units. Follows the Board of Nursing s (BON) Standards of Nursing Practice utilizing the nursing process in care delivery. Maintains accountability for professional decisions and actions within the parameters of their legal scope of practice and in accordance with the federal, state, and local laws; rules and regulations; and policies, procedures and guidelines of Medical City Healthcare.

Qualifications Education / License / Certifications:

• BSN required within 24 months of hire
• Current Texas RN License
• Current Healthcare Provider BLS issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required
• Professional Nursing Organization Membership strongly encouraged.
• Certification in area of specialty preferred.Experience:
  
• Minimum 18 months experience within an acute care hospital with a minimum one year on a Progressive Care or Med/Surg Unit.Hospitals within the EAST POD:
