The position requires the Registered Nurse candidate to have recent extensive Director experience in a Cath Lab within the past 12 months of employment.   • 8am-5:30pm or as neeeded
  • 5 years prior management experience in Cath lab required, with 2 years in EP preferred
  • Prior experience managing at least 3 rooms required
  • Strong working knowledge of Joint Commission Regulations relative to Cath lab
  • Prefers RN experience with scrubbing, circulating, and monitoring cath lab procedures
  • BSN required Master's preferred
  • No OT permitted Weekly Estimated Pay: $3373
    Weekly Taxable Pay: $2988
    Weekly Housing Stipend: Travel Included (Lodging, Rental Car, speak to a recruiter for details)
    Weekly Meal Stipend: $385 *Rates may vary based on stipend needs
    POSITION SUMMARY
    Manages the nursing services and staff for a department; ensures quality and full compliance with relevant policies and standards.

    MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
    --- Implementing and monitoring programs and practices for the delivery of safe and efficient quality nursing care for patients and their families
    --- Ensuring consistent application of nursing services policies and standards throughout the organization
    --- Monitoring patient outcomes and quality and effectiveness of nursing care
    --- Overseeing performance of teams; identifying and addressing staff training and development needs
    --- Apprising medical staff, department heads, and administrators in matters related to nursing service and strategies

    A. Education
    --- Graduate of a Registered Nursing program, Bachelors of Science in Nursing required
    --- Master's degree in Nursing, Health Administration, Business Administration, Nursing, or related advanced degree in health related field preferred
    B. Experience
    --- Minimum of 3-5 years' of clinical patient care experience in a relevant setting
    --- Minimum of 2 years' of healthcare leadership
    --- Minimum of 3 years of cath lab experience required.
    --- Minimum of 2 years critical care experience preferred.
    C. Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications
    --- RN license in good standing in state of employment or a compact state , if applicable
    --- Registered Nurse (RN) required
    --- American Heart Association Basic Life Support required

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Ability to supervise nursing staff and others for whom they are administratively or professionally responsible. 2. Ability to work with other personnel and develop/maintain good relations 3. Demonstrate thorough knowledge of nursing care and current clinical practice, treatments and interventions, specific to position specialty. 4. Ability to understand and monitor applicable regulations, policies and procedures. 5. Promote patient's independence by establishing patient care goals. 6. Resolve patient problems and needs by utilizing multidisciplinary team strategies. 7. Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with rules and regulations. 8. Ability to make independent decisions, follow instructions, and to accept constructive criticism. 9. Ability to deal tactfully with residents, students, family members, visitors, government agencies and personnel, according to position setting. 10. Ability to maintain the care and use of supplies, equipment, etc. 11. Maintain patient confidence and protect operations by keeping information confidential. 12. Demonstrate proficiency in written/verbal skills in English language 13. Sufficient computer skills required to perform duties. CERTIFICATION / REQUIREMENTS: 1. 1 to 3+ years of director level experience in long-term care. 2. Restorative or geriatric nursing experience preferred. 3. Nursing degree from an accredited institution. 4. Current CPR/BLS certification, Physical, TB test 5. Current RN license or license eligible in the state of employment.
