    Job Summary and Qualifications
    What you will do in this role:
    Assists with the coordination of all aspects of the facility infection prevention and control program. Directly involved with activities directed toward prevention and control of healthcare-associated infections. Serves as an infection prevention and control consultant for facility staff, patients, and the community. Interacts with physicians, outside agencies, corporate/divisional staff as well as all departments within the facility.
    What qualifications you will need:
    
    • Current RN license in the State of Texas or compact license
      
    • BSN required within 24 months of hire.
      
    • Minimum of three years current clinical experience in an acute care hospital.
      
    • One to two years experience in Infection Prevention and Control, preferred.
      
    • Certification by the National Certification Board of Infection Control and Applied Epidemiology preferred.
      This role requires you to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 based on local, state and /or federal law or regulations (unless a medical or religious exemption is approved).
