Pay Range: $34.25 - $42.09/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

* The Registered Nurse in our OR will enjoy the benefits of brand-new equipment in a state-of-the-art facility.
* Our 6 bed OR supports Robotics, GYN, Bariatric, Ortho, Neuro, Peds, Urology and Plastics cases and you will have the opportunity to be a part of the newest addition to the HCA family.
* Applying the standards set forth for nursing practice by the American Nurses Association (ANA) and Association of peri-Operative Registered Nurses (AORN), the OR RN will organize, modify, evaluate, document and maintain the plan of care for surgical services patients.
* --- Assists in and assesses Operating Room readiness: table positioning, supplies and supply availability, and equipment readiness
* --- Monitors treatment in the operative environment including practice of aseptic technique and maintenance of sterile fields and correction of breaks in technique for any of the team members
* --- Manages patient safety by implementing operative policy and procedures including patient identification, site verification, positioning and counting of sponges, instruments and sharp

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

* Current licensure as an RN in TX or Compact license is required.
* Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers issued by American Heart Association or client
* ACLS preferred
* CNOR preferred
* Must have 1 year of recent Acute Care experience in OR RN is required
* Associates (required) BSN - HIGHLY PREFERRED
