Job Description:
A company is looking for an Auditor Clinical Validation for
Outpatient and Specialty audits.
Key Responsibilities:
Audits Outpatient and Specialty Claims utilizing medical chart
coding principles and client-specific guidelines
Effectively utilizes audit tools to enter claims accurately and
meet productivity standards
Identifies new claim types, recommends new concepts and processes,
and achieves quality standards
Required Qualifications:
Associate or bachelor's degree in nursing with active/unrestricted
license and coding certification
5-7 years of experience in clinical medical record coding or
auditing
Working knowledge of HIPAA Privacy and Security Rules, CMS security
requirements, and medical claims billing/payment systems
Expert coding knowledge in DRG, ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS codes
Ability to learn and become proficient in a variety of outpatient
and specialty review types
