Specialty Surgery Opportunities Our Surgical Inpatient units are
fast paced units that include high acuity patients. Are you looking
to increase your knowledge base? Our Surgical Inpatient leadership
team fosters an environment that supports learning, mentoring, and
building each team member. Patient Population: Microvascular,
Reconstructive/Plastics, ENT, Bariatric, Oral Surgery, etc. Patient
Ratios: 1:3-5 Number of Beds: 27 Unit selling points: The only ones
doing microvascular surgeries in North Texas! Continuous learning,
teaching facility, magnet designated, and Bariatric Center of
Excellence. ENT/Breast, Microvascular Dedicated Nurse Practitioner.
90% BSN prepared RNs. Specialty certification opportunities: RN-BC
and CMSRN. 7 years CLABSI free, 2000 days CAUTI free, high Quality
patient outcomes, leading BUMC. US New & World Report ranked us

Qualifications - External Registered Nurse Requirements - At least
2 years of inpatient hospital RN experience - Graduate of an
Accredited Nursing Program - License/Certification o RN –
Registered Nurse o BLS – Basic Life Support (required within 30
days of hire)
