registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1 years RN experience
required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not
be considered. An opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse
with PACU experience to support a surgical unit in Irving, Texas.
This role is perfect for a nursing professional skilled in Meditech
systems and experienced in day surgery, preoperative, or
post-anesthesia care, with the ability to seamlessly bridge those
areas. Work Schedule: - Four 10-hour shifts per week - Shift hours:
5:30 AM to 4:00 PM Key Responsibilities: - Monitor and care for
patients recovering from anesthesia following surgical procedures -
Utilize Meditech to document patient care accurately and
efficiently - Collaborate with surgical and nursing teams to ensure
seamless patient transitions within the perioperative environment -
Assess patient status continuously, managing pain and potential
complications while providing emotional support Qualifications &
Desired Experience: - Current RN license with PACU certification or
equivalent experience - Proficiency with Meditech electronic health
records - Previous work in day surgery, preoperative, or
post-anesthesia care units - Strong critical thinking and patient
assessment skills - Ability to communicate effectively with
multidisciplinary teams and patients Location Insight:Situated in
