This position offers the opportunity to work both in facility-based and home-based settings within our extensive network of inpatient rehabilitation hospitals and home health agencies. The Respiratory Therapist will play a critical role in providing high-quality respiratory care tailored to the needs of our patients, enhancing their recovery process and overall health outcomes. Assess patient health status and implement appropriate respiratory care plans Operate and maintain respiratory care equipment Educate patients and families on treatment plans and respiratory wellness Document patient care services and outcomes Collaborate with healthcare teams to customize patient care Adjust and monitor mechanical ventilators Provide emergency care and respiratory treatments Proficient in the use of modern respiratory care equipment Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Knowledge of current respiratory care procedures and protocols Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) Current state license as a Respiratory Therapist BLS certification, ACLS preferred
