Registered Nurse (RN) | Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit Location: Tyler, TX Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,894 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/23/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years in specialty required License: Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: - ECMO experience - Will float to cardiac stepdown - Previous charge experience preferred - Previous travel experience required Description: CVICU RN with ECMO experience is needed. The RN will float to cardiac stepdown as required. Average daily census is 7 patients. The unit has 10 rooms/beds. Patient ratios are 1:2. Documentation is conducted using Epic. The position requires interpretation of dysrhythmias and management of multisystem organ failure. Experience with intra-aortic balloon pumps and post-cardiac surgery care is essential. Monitoring of pulmonary artery lines and arterial line management is needed. The RN will manage central and PICC line care. Continuous IV sedation management is required. The responsibilities include titrating cardiac and vasoactive drips. Care for ventilated patients is part of the role. The RN must interpret arterial blood gases. Compliance with isolation precautions and PPE is necessary. No local candidates will be considered from specified counties. Previous experience in LTAC and trauma level I or II preferred.
