the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find
a qualified Telemetry RN in Tyler, Texas, 75701! Job Title:

Certifications: BLS required; NIHSS preferred Must-Have: EPIC
experience required Description: This unit consists of 36 beds with
a patient ratio of 1:6. It serves a patient population ranging from
young adults to geriatric patients. Priority admission is given to
patients requiring medical cardiac care and those recovering from
cardiac interventions. These interventions include cardiac surgery,
coronary artery stent placement, and pacemaker implantation. The
unit also admits hemodynamically stable non-procedural cardiac
patients. The position requires floating to other units of equal or
lesser acuity. Weekend coverage is required every other weekend.
Travel experience is necessary, and first-time travelers are not
accepted. Candidates must have experience in managing telemetry and
cardiac telemetry, as well as interpreting and managing
dysrhythmias. Skills needed include sheath removal, pre/post
hemodialysis management, and managing arterial lines and central
lines. Knowledge of insulin protocols, blood product
administration, and airway management is essential. The unit has
interdisciplinary support that includes physical therapy,
respiratory services, and social services. All clinical staff
should adhere to isolation precautions and wound care protocols.
