Registered Nurse (RN) | Medical-Surgical Location: Tyler, TX Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,633 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/23/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Active RN License Certifications: BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Travel experience required Epic charting experience required Description: This position involves working on a medical-surgical unit with telemetry capabilities. The unit focuses on patients with renal and urological diagnoses. The staff has expertise in managing patients post-surgery, including prostate surgery and surgeries on the bladder and kidney. Staff is adept at performing catheter irrigations, bladder scans, and incontinence procedures. Patient demographics range from young adults to geriatrics. Additional admissions may include various medical-surgical patients and telemetry overflow. The nurse-patient ratio is 1:6. Float may be required to units of equal or lesser acuity. Skills required include interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, telemetry monitoring, IV maintenance, and wound care.
