Job Description As a Pediatric Cardiovascular ICU Registered
Nurse , your voice to influence patient care is valued and

help shape decisions that elevate both patient outcomes and the
future of nursing. Job Summary and Qualifications Perform direct
patient care within the scope of the Nurse Practice Act, with
emphasis on the critically ill patient with Congenital Heart
Disease and/or Surgery. Organize, implement, modify, evaluate,
document and maintain the plan of care. This plan will be
individualized, family centered, and holistic. Maintain a safe and
therapeutic environment. Participate in CHSU initiatives and
process improvement. Maintain high-quality age specific care for
the neonatal, pediatric, adolescent and young adult population.
Support the mission, vision and values of the organization. What
qualifications you will need: - Graduate of an accredited School of
Professional Nursing - BSN Required within 24 months of hire into
RN position - Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within
6 months of employment start date - Basic Cardiac Life Support must
be obtained within 30 days of employment start date - Pediatric
Advanced Life Support must be obtained within 6 months of
employment start date - Current RN license in the State of Texas or
compact license is required - CCRN preferred - Congenital Heart
Experience and/or high-acuity PICU experience is preferred -
Minimum of 1 year PICU or CHSU RN experience Benefits Medical City
