Doctor of Medicine | Obstetrics and Gynecology Location: Forth Worth, TX Employer: Adelphi Locums Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Quick Facts: • Specialty: OB Hospitalist • Job Type: Permanent • Facility Location: Forth Worth, TX • Service Setting: Inpatient • Reason For Coverage: Vacancy • Coverage Period: ASAP - Ongoing • Coverage Type: Clinical Only • Work Schedule: (7.5) 24-hr shifts/month - will consider (5.5) 24-hr shifts/month • Annual Deliveries: 1,924 with 96 & C-section - performed by: Hospitalist • Annual UnScheduled Patient: 2,296 (OBGYN triage visits) • Annual OBED Consults: 1,229 • % of Practice: 40% C-Section • Specialty Backup: In-House Neonatologist & NNPs • NICU Level: II • Other Info: - Work with maternal-fetal medicine specialists to manage high-risk pregnancies. - Perform tasks including OB triage, admissions, attending deliveries, and inpatient care. - Provide care for unassigned patients and assist with private call coverage. - Cover the OB floor and handle ER consults for GYN emergencies. - Assist in surgical procedures during Cesarean sections - Respond to emergencies in the labor and delivery unit.
