Thriving in a dynamic Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) calls for skilled, compassionate Registered Nurses (RN-NICU) dedicated to delivering specialized care to our most vulnerable patients. This travel nursing opportunity in Garland, Texas offers a chance to work in a 108-bed NICU unit equipped with state-of-the-art technology and a collaborative team environment. Responsibilities include providing exceptional nursing care with patient ratios ranging from 1:1 to 1:4. You'll work alongside RNs, LVNs, PCTs, and Nurse Externs, utilizing advanced equipment such as nasal cannulas, bubble CPAP, ventilators, oscillators, IV pumps, NIRS monitoring, warmers, and isolettes. Accurate and thorough documentation in CPN and Meditech systems is essential. The role requires professionalism and flexibility with a schedule of three 12-hour shifts per week, including rotating weekends and holidays. Contract nurses may also float to related units such as PICU, Pediatrics, and CICU when needed.
