Experience: 2 years License: Active RN License (TX) Certifications:
ACLS, BLS, NRP, FM, AWHONN Description: This is a travel RN
position in Labor and Delivery. The unit has approximately 120
births each month. It contains 12 labor and delivery beds, 2
operating rooms, and 3 triage bays. Nursing staff may float to
Mother/Baby Unit as needed, though it is infrequent. Patient ratios
are 2:1. Each shift has 1 unit tech and 1 unit secretary available.
The documentation system used is Meditech. Must have a minimum of 2
years of experience in Labor and Delivery. Candidates must possess
ACLS, BLS, NRP, FM, and AWHONN certifications. Please note that a
temporary license will not be accepted. Procedures performed
include circulating C-sections. Scrubs will be provided by the
facility. Hair should be clean and neat, avoiding extreme styles or
colors. Beards, mustaches, and sideburns must be clean and neatly
trimmed. Visible body art should be covered whenever possible. All
other visible piercings, except for ears, are prohibited.
Attendance policies are strictly enforced.
