Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To

The primary focus of this role is on creating a pipeline of high-potential and future interest candidates in support of the hiring needs of ABeam Consulting.

  • Works directly with business unit leaders, project managers, and managers to manage and fill open requisitions, both U.S.-based and international.
  • Actively pursues and builds a pipeline of passive candidates.
  • Proven ability to recruit from the Big 4 management consulting firms.
  • Builds relationships with external contracting firms.
  • Independently performs candidate searches, conducts screening interviews, and facilitates hiring manager interviews.
  • Performs initial screening of potential candidates to identify skills and qualifications for openings.
  • Maintains and manages sourcing databases to ensure all data is captured, updated, and reported properly.
  • Places openings on job board sites and searches job board sites for qualified candidates.
  • Builds a strong pipeline of qualified candidates with the ability to keep candidates warm.
  • Assist with the execution of the sourcing mission, strategy, tools, and processes for a given competency/industry line.
  • Works directly with business unit leaders, project managers, and managers to execute sourcing strategies and fill open requisitions, both U.S.-based and international.
  • Proactively network for referrals that will identify additional talent.
  • Performs initial screening of potential candidates to identify skills and qualifications for openings.
  • Manages resumes for presentation to ABeam clients as needed.

    To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies to perform the essential functions of this position.
    • 5+ years of experience in inventive direct sourcing techniques for a large consulting firm preferred.
    • Ability to work in a high volume, customer-facing, fast-paced environment required.
    • Capable of filling requisitions with short lead times.
    • Commitment to recruiting the best candidates for the positions.
    • Heavy experience with key sources for candidates and proven ability to develop a "network" of candidates.
    • Oral communication-the individual speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations, both over the phone and in person.
    • Written communication-the individual is concise and uses proper grammar.
    • Planning/organizing-the individual prioritizes and plans work activities, efficiently uses time, and develops realistic action plans. Has a sense of urgency.
    • Ability to interview and assess appropriate potential hires at all levels.
    • Knowledge of current recruiting trends and techniques.
    • Strong problem solving and organizational skills and ability to follow through independently,
    • Knowledge of our competitors at an in-depth level and strong knowledge of the market indicators which affect hiring.
    • Quality management-the individual looks for ways to improve and promote quality and demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness.
    • Problem-solving-the individual identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner and skillfully gathers and analyzes information; is resourceful.
    • Dependability-the individual is consistently at work and on time, follows instructions, responds to management direction, and solicits feedback to improve performance.
    • Adaptability-the individual adapts to changes in the work environment, manages competing demands, and can deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events.
    • Customer Service-the individual, responds promptly to internal customer situations and needs and solicits feedback to improve service.
    • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need of employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
    • Safety and security-the individual actively promotes and personally observes safety and security procedures and uses equipment and materials properly.
      • Study in business, technology, human resources, or related field.
      • Proficient in computer technology and internet and tech-savvy.
      • Experience with applicant tracking software.
      • Experience working in a professional office environment.
      • Understanding of technical recruiting and knowledge of ERP and FSI industries.
