Position Summary
The HR Generalist has a strong focus on full-cycle recruiting (70%)
and will support all aspects of Human Resources for our HUB
Financial Services (HFS) division in the Las Colinas area of
Irving, TX. This position will report directly to the VP of HR and
will handle all employee relations, performance management, and
transactional HR duties for the segment. The person selected must
be very adept at proactively building pipelines of qualified
candidates to effectively staff a new class of 5-10 employees for a
call center operation approximately every 4-6 weeks. This position
provides opportunities to receive excellent HR mentorship and
valuable experience working directly with the President and
leadership team of HFS.
Job Duties:
Work as a trusted advisor and business partner providing
consultative recruitment services, consistent communication, and
timely follow-through on commitments to hiring managers
Source candidates for customer service, data entry, sales,
operational functions and other positions of varying experience
levels for our Call Center
Directly source candidates, screen resumes, perform telephone
screen interviews and interview candidates for referral to
managers
Engage in the pursuit of qualified passive candidates through
business networking, cold-calling, and utilization of social
networking tools such as LinkedIn
Track candidates through our talent management system (Workday) to
ensure compliance, adherence to corporate protocol, and the proper
measurement of recruiting initiatives
Coordinate and schedule interviews for hiring managers and other
interviewers
Manage recruitment processes, including onboarding, using our human
capital management system (Workday) to ensure accurate and
compliant records & retention
Deliver a new hire onboarding and benefits presentation to each new
class of employees
Develop professional relationships with industry and civic groups,
educational institutions, and government agencies for candidate
sourcing and diversity outreach
Collaborate with HFS managers and HUB HR to drive employee
initiatives in engagement, recruiting, and employee relations
Problem solve using logic, reasoning, collaboration and solid HR
skills to resolve difficult employee situations
Foster a culture of teamwork and respect through effective coaching
and implementation of Company standards and guidelines
Work with managers and employees to address and resolve human
resources matters through day-to-day guidance on performance
management (coaching, counseling, development, effective
documentation, and disciplinary actions)
Coordinate and deliver management training in interviewing, hiring
and selection, positive team member relations, handling
terminations and harassment issues
Provide specific deliverables such as weekly reports and strategic
plans
Monitor the effectiveness of campaigns and overall strategy, making
adjustments to consistently deliver expected results and client
satisfaction
Influence outcomes through established relationships with
employees, leaders, and coworkers
Successfully manage multiple competing priorities and simultaneous
requisitions with aggressive timelines
File electronic copies of employee onboarding documentation and
correspondence in the appropriate file management system (i.e.,
ImageRight, Workday)
Assist with the management and entry of tasks within the human
capital management system (Workday) such as position creation,
employee termination, job changes, and other related transactions
as may be assigned
Track employee referral bonuses and submit to payroll for timely
payment
Qualifications:
Prefer 1-3 years of Human Resources experience, with 1-2 years of
dedicated, high volume recruiting experience
Proven ability to attract passive candidates and build proactive
pipelines through cold calling and networking
Bachelor's degree preferred
Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or Society of Human Resource
Management-Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) designation

Insurance industry experience preferred, but not required
Proven ability to work with remote locations
Exceptional organizational skills, follow up skills, and attention
to detail
Track record of developing and maintaining strong, trusting
relationships with clients at all levels of the organization
Knowledge of LinkedIn and social media recruiting sites
Applied experience with applicant tracking systems and other
recruiting related technologies
Project management experience
Strong relationship-building skills
Excellent initiative, intuitiveness, and resourcefulness
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and
Outlook
Must have the ability to participate in a negligible amount of
travel
