Job Description JOB SUMMARY: The Human Resource Specialist will assist with Human Resource processes and procedures providing support within the HR Department. This position will handle a wide variety of tasks, including but not limited to recruitment, onboarding, updating, and maintaining employee records, reporting, helping to administer and process employee payroll and benefits, along with providing HR related support to employees. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Works with Senior Account on payroll & benefits adminstration Assists with general HR duties: New employee onboarding Assists with recruitment and interview process Schedules interviews as requested Monitors and confirms completion of new employee onboarding Assists with performance review reporting Department and Employee reporting as requested Updates and maintains employee documents in the employee files Assists or prepares correspondence as requested Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions. Performs other clerical functions when needed to back up company Administrative Assistant Performs other related duties as assigned QUALIFYING JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES: Working understanding of Human Resource principles, practices, and procedures Knowledge of employee onboarding and continued employee engagement Knowledge of payroll and payroll tax rules Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines Extremely detail oriented with ability to self-check and review Ability to maintain strict confidentiality Advanced knowledge of MS Office Knowledge of Smartsheet a plus Knowledge of payroll and payroll tax rules Excellent verbal and written communication skills Outstanding interpersonal and customer service skills Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment Positive ---can do--- attitude EDUCATION &/OR RELATED EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field and/or equivalent experience Minimum of two years--- related experience required
