Responsibilities About the job: You'll be joining a multidisciplinary team of product managers, marketers, designers, and engineers who research and innovate on latest technology to create awesome digital products that millions of people will experience every day. You will be responsible for building automation frameworks and coverage for back-end and front-end systems that improve testing turnaround and support frequent quality releases, resulting in an increased revenue to the company. Engineers at 7Now have solid technical background but enjoy learning new languages, technologies, and frameworks. The position is located at the 7-Eleven corporate office in Irving, TX (part of the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex). Key Responsibilities: - Develop automation solutions to solve problems across 7-Eleven delivery platforms - Stay up to date with emerging technologies and learn new technologies/libraries/frameworks - Learn and partner with peers across multiple pods to understand systems better, ensuring that the automation solutions provided add real value - Deliver on time with a high bar on quality of engineering Qualifications Qualifications: - 3+ years of experience using Mobile Automation Tools and Technologies (especially Appium for both Android and iOS) - 3+ years of experience with Web Automation using Selenium with Java - 1+ years of experience building automation frameworks for Appium and/or Selenium - 1+ years of experience interacting with API endpoints and databases as part of UI Automation using Appium and/or Selenium - 1+ years of CI/CD experience - integrating automation scripts as part of build pipelines (GIT(preferred), Azure Devops, Jenkins) - 1+ years of experience with API Automation using Postman (preferred) - 1+ years of experience with cloud services (especially AWS Device Farm for automation) - 1+ years of experience working with NoSQL databases like MongoDB (preferred) - 4+ years of overall QA Testing experience - Stays on the leading edge with automation development tools and best practices - Continuously looking to automate anything feasible to reduce manual intervention and human errors - Self-directed with a start-up entrepreneur mindset - Does not call the job done until their customer says it is done - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science/Engineering, or relevant experience
