acts as a liaison between key stakeholders including data &
analytics, business partners, finance and IT to maximize business
value and drive application of analytical models. This role
provides a unique opportunity to facilitate innovation at the
intersection of business and technology and identify new projects
to meet business objectives-past/ongoing efforts include developing
an analytics product to drive sustainable business operations,
developing a price optimization for device trade-ins and building
pricing analytics to optimize consumer pricing strategies. This
role provides exposure to a wide range of functions from building
go-to-market strategies to optimizing supply chain & operations.
Furthermore, the work focuses on high-impact, end-to-end business
problems that are of keen interest to senior leaders. This position
requires innovation, entrepreneurship, excellent communication, and
leadership skills to drive adoption of analytical solutions that
create business value.This position is for a Technical Product
Manager focused in data and analytics. You may have the opportunity
to:
- Build relationships with stakeholders from organizations such
as operations, marketing, finance, IT, and analytics to understand
business needs, constraints, and objectives
- Own roadmap throughout the product lifecycle including key
objectives, delivery schedule, and final acceptance criteria
- Develop the product strategy for each analytical tool, casting
a clear vision that speaks to how the system will be used to
benefit the business
- Identify, define, and prioritize features and requirements
based on business needs
- Provide insights through combined understanding of current
business operations and technical capabilities / constraints
- Track and report success metrics to key stakeholders and their
impact on business KPIs
- Develop and manage testing plan to validate model assumptions
and results
- Lead handover process to ensure effective adoption and
utilization of final products You must be currently enrolled in the
MIT LGO degree program and be in good academic standing to be
considered.In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location
that includes work from home and assigned office days set by your
manager. This hybrid role is open to Verizon Hubs: Basking Ridge,
NJ (NYC area); Irving, TX (Dallas area); Alpharetta, GA (Atlanta
area); Ashburn, VA (DC area); Boston, MA; Cary, NC (Raleigh-Durham
area); Irvine, CA (Los Angeles area); and Lake Mary, FL (Orlando
area) If relocation is required, relocation assistance may be

- Current enrollment in an MBA or Master's degree program with a
focus in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, Business
Administration, or a related field with a completion date between
December 2023 and June 2024.
- This position is limited to students enrolled at Massachusetts
Institute of Technology (MIT) Sloan School of Management who are
currently enrolled in the MIT Leaders for Global Operations (LGO)
Program.
- 4+ years of progressive responsibility within Business
Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or a
related field.
- Willingness to travel and work in an assigned Verizon Hub. Even
better if you have one or more of the following:
- Demonstrated problem solving ability and advanced analytical
skills.
- Proven ability at engaging and influencing functional leaders
and stakeholders.
- Experience in strategic projects and change management, ability
to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Familiar with advanced analytical skills and tools such as -

work location, the compensation range for this position is between
$89,000.00 and $165,000.00 annually based on a full-time schedule.
The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed
job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based
position with the potential to earn more. For part time roles, your
compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.
