Overview:We are looking for a Lead Android TV and Mobile Developer to drive the development of cutting-edge Android applications across both TV and mobile platforms. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Android development, leadership capabilities, and a proven track record of delivering high-quality applications. This role involves managing a team of developers, collaborating with stakeholders, and setting the technical direction for mobile and Android TV projects.Key Responsibilities:

• Technical Leadership: Lead a team of Android developers, providing guidance, mentoring, and support.
• Architecture & Design: Define the architecture and design of Android TV and mobile applications, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
• Hands-On Development: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code for complex features on Android TV and mobile devices.
• Project Management: Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to define project requirements, timelines, and deliverables.
• Code Reviews: Conduct thorough code reviews, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Optimization: Ensure optimal performance, responsiveness, and resource management across diverse devices and screen sizes.
• Technology Strategy: Stay up-to-date with the latest Android frameworks, SDKs, and development tools; make recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Quality Assurance: Work closely with QA to develop testing strategies and ensure product quality.
• Team Collaboration: Foster a collaborative environment, ensuring smooth communication between cross-functional teams.Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Extensive Android Development Experience: Minimum 6+ years of experience in Android development, including at least 2+ years working with Android TV.
  • Leadership Experience: Proven experience leading a team of developers, managing projects, and ensuring timely delivery.
  • Proficient in Kotlin and Java: Deep understanding of both languages, and experience working with Android SDK.
  • UI/UX Expertise: Strong understanding of Android design guidelines and the ability to create engaging user interfaces for both mobile and TV.
  • Experience with Media & Streaming Apps: Familiarity with video streaming apps, DRM, ExoPlayer, and media APIs is a plus.
  • Cross-Device Optimization: Strong knowledge of optimizing applications for both Android TV and mobile screens, understanding the unique user experience needs for each.
  • Version Control & CI/CD: Proficient in using Git, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing tools.
  • Problem Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.Preferred Qualifications:
    • Experience with Jetpack Compose, Android Architecture Components, and MVVM architecture.
    • Knowledge of Firebase, Retrofit, and Coroutines.
    • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and working in an Agile environment.
    • Experience with 3rd party integrations (APIs, SDKs, etc.).
