Job Description:

Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs. Design and develop Postgres database and tables for various reporting applications. Coordinate with businesses to analyze the data and implement various statistical techniques to interpret the data. Build high-performance software to support ad delivery data platform. Automate data collection and reports from multiple sources generating reports from single or multiple systems. Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports. Provide technical consulting, troubleshooting and subject matter expertise on the platform and any integrations. Manage and design the reporting environment, including data sources, security, and metadata. Work with other members of the Operations, Platform and Engineering teams to design new solutions. Use Agile and DevOps methodologies to enhance existing operations and processes. Maintain the applications in the production environment and maintain the security & venerability of the applications. Implement the unit test framework for multiple applications. Requirements: Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field followed by five years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or five years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in any occupation in which the required experience was gained. Experience must include one year of experience in each of the following: 1. Perform data analysis and elevate existing data deliverables using massively parallel data processing platform such as Greenplum. 2. Develop systems and tools for effective data management, visualization and interpretation using HTML, CSS, JavaScript and BI tools. 3. Perform longitudinal and cross-sectional analysis using Python, SQL, and T-SQL to deliver impactful insights to business. 4. Implement non-relational data models and flexible schemas in low-latency applications using NoSQL database such as MongoDB. 5. Use Jira software for Agile and Scrum management, bug and issue tracking. 6. Document technical design and functionality using various types of UML diagrams such as Class, Sequency, State and Activity diagrams. 7. Manage containerized applications at scale using Kubernetes orchestration. Use Grafana, Prometheus tools for monitoring. 8. Perform cost-based query optimization for large-scale data workloads, achieve interactive and batch-mode analytics to large datasets without degrading query performance and throughput using MPP architecture.
