Job Description:
Lockheed Martin, a leader in the defense and aerospace industry,
is currently seeking an AI Research Engineer to join our innovative
Data Science & AI team. This position entails the development and
integration of cutting-edge AI technologies to enhance our advanced
technology systems, products, and services. The ideal candidate
will be involved in every stage of AI solution development, from
research and design to implementation, focusing on ensuring these
solutions meet both performance and ethical standards. This role
demands a high degree of collaboration, creativity, and technical
expertise, marrying AI techniques with the rigorous demands and
challenges unique to the aerospace and defense sectors. Conduct
research to develop innovative AI algorithms and models applicable
to aerospace and defense challenges. Implement AI solutions within
diverse systems, ensuring they meet quality, functionality, and
ethical standards. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to
identify requirements and integrate AI technologies effectively.
Stay abreast of emerging trends and advancements in AI and machine
learning, evaluating their applicability to our business needs.
Ensure all developments align with both internal standards and
industry-wide ethical guidelines. Expertise in machine learning,
deep learning, and neural networks. Proficient in programming
languages such as Python, R, or Java. Experience with AI frameworks
and tools like TensorFlow, Keras, or PyTorch. Strong analytical and
problem-solving skills. Ability to work collaboratively in highly
