available to join our team in support of the Department of
Justice’s (DoJ) groundbreaking program aimed at strengthening the
infrastructure, enhancing cybersecurity, and improving user
experience across US Marshals Service (USMS) districts. This IT
modernization initiative is a critical component of ensuring the
effectiveness and security of our nation’s law enforcement
operations. We are looking for an experienced Network Administrator
to join our team on this new contract. We invite skilled and

the guidance of experienced professionals. Responsibilities: Assist
in processing MACD (Move, Add, Change, Delete) requests to ensure
accurate and timely updates to network configurations. Perform
general troubleshooting under supervision to identify and resolve
network issues, ensuring minimal downtime. Monitor network
performance using various tools and techniques to detect and
address anomalies. Assist in implementing strategies to minimize
network latency, ensuring optimal data transmission speeds.
Configure and maintain network infrastructure components, including
routers, switches, and firewalls, under supervision. Collaborate
with cross-functional teams to align network solutions with
business objectives. Develop and maintain network documentation,
including diagrams, configurations, and procedures, with guidance.
Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and other IT
staff as directed. Stay current with emerging network technologies,
trends, and best practices. Participate in the procurement and
evaluation of network hardware and software as part of a team.
Ensure compliance with network security policies, standards, and
regulations under supervision. Conduct regular network audits and
assessments to identify areas for improvement. Contribute to the
continuous improvement of network operations and processes. Perform
routine maintenance and updates to network equipment and software
as directed. Assist in the development and implementation of
disaster recovery and business continuity plans. Qualifications:
Required: Active DoD Public Trust clearance or US citizen with
ability to obtain Public Trust upon hire Bachelor’s degree in
Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a
related field. Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Network
Administrator or in a similar network role. Basic understanding of
MACD request processing and network configuration management.
Fundamental general troubleshooting skills for network issues.
Basic proficiency in network monitoring tools and techniques. Basic
knowledge of strategies for minimizing network latency. Fundamental
understanding of networking protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, UDP,
HTTP/HTTPS). Basic familiarity with network security principles and
practices. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Effective
communication and interpersonal skills. Desired: Certifications
such as CompTIA Network or equivalent. Experience with network
automation tools and scripts (e.g., Ansible, Python). Knowledge of
software-defined networking (SDN) and network function
virtualization (NFV). Familiarity with cloud networking (e.g., AWS,
Azure, Google Cloud). Experience with network performance
management tools (e.g., Nagios, SolarWinds). - What You Can Expect:

factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited
to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor
categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience,
specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.

one location, the range shown is the national average for the
position. The proposed salary range for this position is:
